The 'Rent-to-Buy' Programme

Most people can learn to play a musical instrument and enjoy a life-long social skill.  There are some students (including several former pupils of Dr Tony Evans) who began playing just for fun, now performing in many of the UK's leading bands and orchestras.

It has been proven that children who play a musical instrument obtain a higher I.Q. level, are much happier and generally more adept in social skills.  In 2004, the Government introduced into the National curriculum, seven new units using musical instruments.

Most parents feel they would like to give their children the opportunity to play an instrument. Feasibility studies have shown that if a child is going to give up playing, it is generally within the first three months.  At Maestro's, we are very much aware of parent's anxiety when paying out large amounts of money to purchase an instrument, only to find that it could possibly be discarded after three or four months.

This is where Maestro's Music Low Cost Rent-to-Buy programme comes to the fore, enabling the gift of music to be enjoyed by all who wish to have music in their lives.
